08 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Cinnamon Sugar Swirl

09 - ⅓ cup granulated sugar

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

06 - Gently drag a knife through the batter to marble the cinnamon sugar layers.

08 - Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The cinnamon sugar swirl creates these gorgeous ribbons that make every bite feel special
  • It stays incredibly moist for days, if it lasts that long in your house
02 -
  • Overmixing the batter makes the bread tough, so stop as soon as the flour disappears
  • The toothpick test should be done in the center, but avoid hitting the cinnamon swirl pockets or you will get false positives
03 -
  • Line your pan with parchment paper leaving overhang on the long sides, then you can just lift the whole loaf out when it is done
  • If your bananas are not quite ripe enough, bake them in their skins at 175°C (350°F) for 15 minutes to soften and sweeten them up
