Cheesy pizza fillings wrapped in tortillas and baked or air fried until golden crisp.

# Ingredient List:

→ Tortillas

01 - 4 large flour tortillas (10-12 inch diameter)

→ Pizza Filling

02 - 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
03 - 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 oz)
04 - ½ cup sliced pepperoni (optional, substitute with mushrooms for vegetarian)
05 - ½ cup chopped bell peppers (mixed colors)
06 - ¼ cup sliced black olives
07 - ¼ cup chopped red onion
08 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
09 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder

→ Topping & Finishing

10 - Olive oil cooking spray or 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing
11 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
12 - Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F or set air fryer to 375°F. If using oven, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Lay flour tortillas on a clean work surface. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over the center of each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
03 - Divide mozzarella cheese, pepperoni (or mushrooms), bell peppers, olives, red onion, oregano, and garlic powder evenly among the tortillas, spreading over the sauce layer.
04 - Fold in the left and right edges of each tortilla about 1 inch. Starting from the bottom edge, roll up tightly burrito-style to completely enclose the filling.
05 - Lightly brush or spray the outside of each burrito with olive oil to promote even browning and crisping.
06 - Place burritos seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy, turning once halfway through cooking.
07 - Arrange burritos in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if necessary). Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until evenly browned and crisp.
08 - Remove from oven or air fryer. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve immediately with additional pizza sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

02 -
  • The tortillas must be at room temperature or they will crack when you try to roll them
  • Let the burritos rest for 3 minutes before cutting or the cheese will burst out immediately
03 -
  • Weighing down the burritos with another baking sheet while they cook helps them stay uniform and compact
  • If the ends start to burn too quickly tent them with a piece of aluminum foil for the last few minutes
